FCI Result: How to Check It and What Comes Next
The FCI result comes out in steps, one for each phase of the exam, and each step decides whether you move to the next round. Many candidates miss a notice because they only look for one final list.
This guide explains how results are published, how to open your score card, what the cut off marks mean, how the merit list and document verification work, and what to do if your name is missing. We do not publish results or marks here. Every list and score card is released only through the official FCI website, fci.gov.in, or the linked recruitment portal.
How the FCI Result Is Published Phase by Phase
For AG III posts the exam runs in two online phases, and the FCI results follow the same order. First comes the Phase I result, which is a shortlist of roll numbers who may sit Phase II. Then comes the Phase II or mains result, which feeds the final merit list. Manager and other Category II posts have their own result notices with their own later rounds.
| Stage | What is released | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Phase I result | Roll numbers shortlisted, often zone wise | You may sit Phase II |
| Phase I score card | Your marks by section | Shows how close you were to the cut off |
| Phase II result | Roll numbers called for document verification | Provisional selection, not yet final |
| Phase II score card | Your marks and, where given, cut offs | Useful for planning the next attempt |
| Final list | Selected candidates by zone and post | Offer letter follows after checks |
The gap between the exam and the result is not fixed. The FCI grade 3 phase 2 result date has differed widely between cycles, so do not trust a date you see shared online until it is on the official site.

How to Check the FCI AG 3 Result and Score Card
The steps below have worked across recent cycles. Link names may change a little.
- Visit fci.gov.in and open its careers area, where recruitment notices are listed.
- Find the result notice for your post and phase, for example the FCI AG 3 result for Phase I or the FCI mains result for Phase II.
- Open the PDF list and search for your roll number using the find option in your phone or computer.
- For marks, open the score card link given in the same notice.
- Sign in using the registration number plus either your date of birth or password, then fill the captcha.
- Save the score card as a PDF and keep a printout with your application records.
Score card links stay open only for a limited time. Download yours as soon as it appears, because you may need it later for your own records or for a future application. If you lost your registration number, the admit card guide explains how to recover it.

What FCI Cut Off Marks Mean
A cut off is the lowest score that was enough to move ahead in that round. FCI cut offs are not one number. They are usually set:
- By category: General, EWS, OBC, SC, ST and PwBD each have their own.
- By zone: AG III posts are filled zone wise, so the same score can clear one zone and not another.
- By phase: Phase I and Phase II have separate cut offs, and the notice may also set sectional minimums.
- By stream: General, Depot, Accounts, Technical and Hindi each have their own lists.
Cut offs depend on the number of vacancies, the number of candidates and how hard the paper was, so they move every cycle. We do not list past figures because they can mislead. Read them in the official notice or on your score card where FCI prints them.

Merit List and Document Verification
Clearing the FCI AG3 phase 2 result does not mean you are selected. The Phase II list is a call for document verification. At this stage FCI checks that what you claimed in the application is true. Bring the documents the notice lists, usually:
- Educational certificates and mark sheets for the qualifying degree.
- Proof of date of birth.
- Caste, EWS or disability certificate in the format the notice asks for, if you claimed a reserved seat.
- Photo ID, your call letters and the printed application form.
- No objection certificate if you are already in government service.
Any mismatch, such as a degree completed after the cut off date, can end your candidature. Read the eligibility rules in the AG III guide before this stage, not after.

After Selection: Offer Letter, Medical and Joining
Once documents are cleared, the final select list is published zone wise. Selected candidates then receive an offer of appointment from the zone or region. Before you join, there is usually a medical examination and, for many posts, police verification of character and antecedents. The joining letter names your office and the date to report.
On joining, the FCI Computer or IT section gives you an Employee Number and password for the HR portal, where you see payslips, leave and circulars. The FCI HRMS login guide walks you through the first login, and the FCI salary guide explains how pay is built up.

If Your Name Is Missing from the Result
First, make sure you are reading the right list. Many candidates check the wrong zone, stream or phase.
- Confirm the post, stream, zone and phase on the result notice match your application.
- Search the PDF by roll number, not by name, since names are often not printed.
- Open your score card and compare your marks with any cut off shown.
- If you think there is an error, write to the contact in the recruitment notice with your registration number and roll number.
- Keep checking fci.gov.in for a reserve or additional list, which some cycles have released.
If you did not make it this time, your score card is the best guide for the next attempt. Use the FCI syllabus guide to plan around your weak sections.

Questions people ask
Where can I see the fci.gov.in result for AG 3?
On fci.gov.in, open the careers area and pick the result notice for your post and phase. The list is usually a PDF of roll numbers, and the score card has a separate login link.
When is the FCI grade 3 phase 2 result date?
There is no fixed date. FCI announces the Phase II result on its website when evaluation is done, and the gap has varied between cycles. Check the careers section rather than dates shared online.
How do I download the FCI grade 3 score card?
Open the score card link in the result notice and sign in using your registration number with your date of birth or password. Save it as a PDF quickly, since the link stays open only for a limited time.
Is the FCI ag3 mains result the final selection?
Not yet. The mains or Phase II result calls candidates for document verification. Final selection depends on clearing that stage, then the medical check and other conditions in the offer letter.
Why is the FCI cut off different for each zone?
AG III posts are filled zone wise, and each zone has its own vacancies and candidates. So the lowest qualifying score differs by zone, category, stream and phase in every cycle.
Does the FCI result grade 3 list include manager and watchman posts?
No. AG III, manager and watchman results are separate. Manager results appear in the Category II notice on fci.gov.in, and watchman results are released by the region that ran the exam.
